There Is More To Buying a Mobility Scooter - #14

Buying an electric mobility scooter can be a costly mistake if you have not matched your specific needs to the features provided by the scooter you are considering.
The type of illness / disabiliy you suffer from should also be taken into account. Mobility scooters are ideal for people who still have some mobility but have difficulty with longer distances.
Don’t be afraid to ask your mobility supplier to let you test drive the models you are intereted in. It’s no good finding things you don’t like after you have made the purchase.
If you have large rooms and maneuverability is not that important, you could consider some types of mobility scooters, otherwise stick to a power wheelchair.
